One of the things that We The People seem to forget is that with Rights come Responsibilities. It also appears the writers of the original Constitution were focused entirely on the government and not on our American society as a whole. The did not include the responsibilities of the People.
Since it appears to me that many Citizens have lost sight of their basic responsibilities to our nation, I included a list of Responsibilities Of The People as I see them. This list should be used by Congress during the creation of Laws and the Supreme Court in its decisions. This list may not be all inclusive; I am hoping for feedback.
One responsibility that will be added to the next version of the New Constitution has to do with children. The “Right to produce children” is included under Basic Rights. This Responsibility will be added:
“Every Person who produces children or accepts responsibility for children is responsible for providing food, clothing, shelter, safety, education and health care for the children until the children reach the age of 18.”
